ABOUT ME
I married my high school sweetheart and am the proud mother of two kids, one of whom graduated from high school during COVID and the other is a rising freshman in high school in Leander ISD. My life experiences have strengthened my conviction in the value of public education. When my husband and I went back to school to finish our requirements and receive our degrees, our lives' trajectory was altered.
Education has an impact. There is little doubt that teachers are impacting students' lives in the classrooms, whether it be through the formative experiences of kindergarten or the pivotal fifth-grade years.
I had the good fortune to discover my love of public service and policy throughout my college years. Fortunately, kids don't have to wait until they are in college to find their interest. The goal of Leander ISD is to cultivate learners and help them find their passions.
